| Below, we list the hand rankings of texas
holdem poker, which determines who won the pot. We are starting with the best
hand on top and go down to the lowest hand. The person with the hand closest
to the top is the winner of that particular hand and wins the pot. Royal
Flush: This is the best hand you can get and consists of a straight with
the Ace, as well as all cards being of the same suit! Straight Flush:
A straight with all cards being of the same suit, but without the Ace.
Four of a Kind: As the name says, when you have 4 of a kind, for example 4
Kings, 4 Queens or something like that. Should two players have 4 of a kind,
the person with the higher 4 of a kind wins (2 being the lowest and Ace the
highest). Full House: This is when you have 3 of a kind, as well as 2
of another kind. For example, when you have 3 Kings and 2 Queens, you have a
full house with Kings full of Queens. Should two people have a full house, the
person who has the higher 3 of a kind wins. Straight: A straight,
with the cards being of a different suit. A straight is for example when you
hold 5, 6, 7, 8, and 9. Three of a Kind: Holding 3 cards of the same
kind. For example, 3 Kings or 3 5's. Should more than 1 player have a three of
a kind, the person with the higher three of a kind wins. Two Pairs:
Having twice a pair, like a pair of Kings and a pair of Queens. Should more
than 1 player have two pairs, the player with the higher pair wins. Should the
high pair be equal, the player with the higher second pair wins. One Pair:
Having two cards of the same rank, for example, 2 Kings, or 2 Queens. Should
two people have a pair, the person with the higher pair wins. Should both have
the same kind of pair, the person with the highest single card wins. High
Card: The person with the highest card wins the pot. Should the first high
card be equal, the person with the highest second card wins. To learn more
